The invited speaker for this workshop was Associate Professor Karuthan Chinna from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. The workshop was a huge success with an overwhelming response of more than 50 participants. The main aim of the workshop was on complex sampling using SPSS that allows the selection of a sample according to a complex design and incorporate the design specifications into the data analysis, thus, ensuring valid results. The workshop also focused on sampling designs, assigning sample weights, sampling with SPSS Complex Samples and the analysis of the weighted data.
