Associate Professor Awang Bulgiba contributed to two workshops on scientific writing. The first was the Scientific Writing for Publications organised by the Health Research Development Unit (HerDU) from 23-24 July 2007 while the second was the Scientific Writing workshop organised by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia in Sibu, Sarawak from 31 July to 3 August 2007.
In both workshops, Associate Professor Awang Bulgiba taught participants how to present statistical results in a scientific paper. Participants in the HerDU-organised workshop consisted of postgraduate students and lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine while participants in the MOH-organised workshop consisted of participants from all over the country.
