A one-day Seminar on Occupational Health for Healthcare Workers was held at the Dewan Sekapur Sireh located in the new Trauma and Emergency Building, University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) on the 9th February 2006. The highlight of this seminar was that this was the first seminar organised for healthcare workers at this medical facility and was a conjoint effort between University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) and the Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (SOEM), Malaysian Medical Association.
