The teams from the Public Health Department and Occupational Safety Health and Environment Unit UMMC was hard at work this morning screening healthcare workers who was exposed to a COVID-19 patient yesterday. In the time of an emergency we all should work together to help out.
The healthcare workers was attending to a patient who have come back from a COVID-19 affected country, however, the patient didn’t inform the healthcare workers.
Public who is coming back from affected countries or is exposed to COVID-19 patients need to inform the healthcare personnel. They should also put on a mask before coming to the healthcare facilities.
