Wong Mee Lian

Professor Wong Mee Lian is attached to the Department of Community, Occupational and Family Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University of Singapore, Singapore.Her involvement includes being the Assistant Dean (Education-Pre-clinical), Faculty of Medicine, NUS, Consultant on Health Promotion, Ministry of Health , Brunei , a member for the Technical Reference Panel, The Leprosy Mission International, external examiner, Degree of Master of Public Health, University of Malaya, member of the Specialist Training Committee for Public Health Medicine in Singapore, member of the sub-committee to accredit training in Public Health in Singapore and visiting consultant, National Skin Centre in Singapore.

Her research interest includes Control of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/ AIDS among sex workers and their clients and Health promotion and behavioural change.

Her teaching interest includes Health Promotion, health education and behavioural change and Quality in Health Care; Human Resource Management; Doctor-patient communication.
