DESCRIPTION:\nThe workshop “Responsible AI Use in Research Writing and Pu
 blishing: Maximising Tools and Minimising Biases” is jointly organised b
 y the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine\, Faculty of Medicine\,
  Universiti Malaya\, and the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH)
 . The programme aims to enhance participants’ scientific writing and pub
 lishing skills while promoting the responsible and ethical use of AI in ac
 ademic research.\n\n\n\nThe workshop will provide participants with practi
 cal guidance on developing high-quality scientific manuscripts\, including
  effective manuscript structuring\, publication strategies\, and understan
 ding the expectations of journal editors and reviewers. Participants will 
 also gain insights into the appropriate use of AI tools in research writin
 g\, as well as the biases\, limitations\, and ethical considerations assoc
 iated with their use.\n\n\n\nIn addition to expert presentations\, the pro
 gramme includes one-to-one manuscript consultation sessions\, providing pa
 rticipants with personalised feedback to improve the quality\, impact\, an
 d publication readiness of their manuscripts. The workshop is targeted at 
 researchers\, academic staff\, postgraduate students\, and professionals i
 nvolved in research and scholarly publishing.\n\n\n\nE-certificate of atte

 rofessor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Farid\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Fari
 d is a Public Health Medical Specialist and Professor at the Department of
  Social and Preventive Medicine\, Faculty of Medicine\, Universiti Malaya.
  She obtained her medical degree from the University of Adelaide and later
  completed her MPH and DrPH at Universiti Malaya. With experience in the M
 inistry of Health and academia\, she has a strong interest in adolescent h
 ealth\, particularly sexual and reproductive health\, mental health\, nutr
 ition\, physical activity\, and risk behaviours. She currently leads the C
 entre for Population Health and coordinates the Doctor of Public Health (D
 rPH) programme at Universiti Malaya.\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr Wah Yun Low\n\n\n
 \nProfessor Dr Wah Yun Low is a distinguished public health academic and r
 esearcher at the Faculty of Medicine\, Universiti Malaya. She is internati
 onally recognised for her work in adolescent health\, sexuality education\
 , vulnerable populations\, and community health development. She has led n
 umerous research and capacity-building initiatives across the Asia-Pacific
  region and currently serves as President of the Asia Pacific Academic Con
 sortium for Public Health (APACPH). Professor Low is also the Editor-in-Ch
 ief of the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health and has received multiple
  awards for her contributions to public health leadership\, research\, and
  education.\n\n\n\nEmeritus Professor Dr Colin Binns\n\n\n\nEmeritus Profe
 ssor Dr Colin Binns is a Professor of Public Health at Curtin University\,
  Australia\, and a globally recognised expert in public health nutrition\,
  breastfeeding\, and international health. He previously served as the fou
 nding Head of Curtin University's School of Public Health and has contribu
 ted extensively to public health policy and research across Australia and 
 the Asia-Pacific region. He has published more than 300 scientific papers 
 and has advised governments and international organisations on nutrition a
 nd public health. He currently serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Asi
 a Pacific Journal of Public Health.\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr Victor Hoe\n\n\n\n
 Professor Dr Victor Hoe Abdullah is a Public Health Medical Specialist and
  Professor at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine\, Faculty o
 f Medicine\, Universiti Malaya\, where he currently serves as Head of Depa
 rtment. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Medical Journal of Malaysia.
  His expertise spans occupational health\, workplace wellness\, ergonomics
 \, and health risk assessment. A Fellow of several professional academies\
 , he has contributed significantly to public health research\, education\,
  and policy development in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region. He is wid
 ely recognised for his leadership\, research excellence\, and contribution
 s to medical education and public health communication.\n\n\n\nEmeritus Pr
 ofessor Datuk Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud\n\n\n\nEmeritus Professor Datu
 k Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud is Malaysia’s first medical doctor to ob
 tain a PhD in Health Informatics and the country’s first Emeritus Profes
 sor of Epidemiology and Health Informatics. He previously served as Deputy
  Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Aca
 demic and International) at Universiti Malaya. A renowned scholar\, policy
  advisor\, and public health leader\, he has played key roles in advancing
  health informatics\, epidemiology\, research governance\, and higher educ
 ation in Malaysia. During the COVID-19 pandemic\, he chaired national advi
 sory initiatives and contributed directly to evidence-based public health
