DESCRIPTION:\nThe Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM)\, Facu
 lty of Medicine\, Universiti Malaya\, will be hosting a Thesis Seminar Pre
 sentation as part of its ongoing postgraduate academic activities.\n\n\n\n
 This seminar will feature Ms Hoo Yee Yin\, who will present her research t
 itled “Burden of Comorbidities in Individuals with Cancer and Its Impact
  on Survivorship Outcomes in a Low- and Middle-Income Setting.” The stud
 y addresses an increasingly relevant public health concern\, particularly 
 in the context of ageing populations and the growing burden of non-communi
 cable diseases in low- and middle-income countries.\n\n\n\nThe session wil
 l be chaired by Dr Lim Sin How\, with an expert panel comprising:\n\n\n\n\
 nProfessor Dr Noran Naqiah Mohd Hairi\n\n\n\nDr Abdul Hanif Bin Mohamad Ya
 haya\n\n\n\n\nThe research is supervised by:\n\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr Nirmala
  Bhoo Pathy\n\n\n\nAdjunct Professor Dr Mahmoud Danaee\n\n\n\nProfessor Dr
  Bogda Koczwara\n\n\n\n\nThis seminar provides an opportunity for academic
  exchange and critical discussion on cancer survivorship\, multimorbidity\
 , and health system implications in resource-constrained settings. It is p
 articularly relevant for public health practitioners\, clinicians\, and re
 searchers involved in chronic disease management and health services plann
