DESCRIPTION:\nINTRODUCTIONInterventions and evidence-based practices that a
 re poorly implemented – or not implemented at all – do not produce exp
 ected health benefits. Even when effectively implemented\, interventions a
 nd practice changes still might not produce the expected health benefits i
 f effectiveness is lost during implementation\, or if the intervention or 
 practice was never effective in the first place.\n\n\n\nThis introductory 
 workshop will provide an insight into implementation science and briefly i
 ntroduce a few frameworks commonly used in the field. By the end of this w
 orkshop\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n\n\nDefine implementation sci
 ence\n\n\n\nDecide and justify whether a health care intervention has suff
 icient evidence to be translated/disseminated into practice\, policy\, or 
 public health\n\n\n\nIdentify strategies and activities for engaging key s
