 (UM)\, is organising a hybrid workshop entitled "A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOU
 SAND WORDS: USING PHOTOVOICE AS A TOOL FOR DATA COLLECTION IN HEALTHCARE".

 esearch method used to empower participants by allowing them to document a
 nd share their experiences through photography. It can be especially valua
 ble in community-based research\, capturing&nbsp\;participants’&nbsp\;ow
 n particular points of view and the way they have seen their world.&nbsp\;
 The messages through the photos reach people from all walks of life and in
 fluence the policy-makers to bring in positive changes.\n\n\n\nThis one-da
 y workshop aims to provide hands-on training to participants on both syn
 chronous and asynchronous Photovoice techniques. The workshop aims to offe
 r customized training to participants by accommodating their own research 
 interests. Although the workshop will primarily focus on healthcare\, rese
 archers from other fields are welcome to attend and learn about the techni
