Yale School of Public Health: Application for Starlight Fellowship in Global Health 2022/23

The Yale School of Public Health is seeking post-doctoral researchers who wish to deepen their research and analytical skills to drive public health policy in academic research and practice settings. Applications are open for the Starlight Fellowship which offers researchers the opportunity to train and conduct research at the Yale School of Public Health for 6-12 months.

The mission of the Starlight Fellowship is to train a cohort of emerging leaders in global health policy analysis and the development and use of state of the art tools to guide and shape decision-making in their home communities and countries, either in public health practice or the academic research arena.

The Starlight program is directed by a multidisciplinary team of researchers and policy experts from various Departments at the Yale School of Public Health, including Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases, Biostatistics, and Health Policy. Yale professors are currently undertaking a wide range of research activities (https://publichealth.yale.edu/people/modeling.aspx), including assessing tools and technologies to prevent the spread of Covid-19, studying the cost-effectiveness of HIV prevention services, advising on the Zika response in Brazil, and using disease modelling and economic analyses to advocate for hepatitis C treatment scale-up across low- and middle-income countries.
