N95 with a one-way valve should be avoided in Clinical Areas

In this video, Professor Dr Victor Hoe explains the difference between normal N95 respirators and an N95 respirator with a one-wave or ‘easy breathing’ valve. The N95 with a one-way valve should be avoided in a clinical area as it may contaminate the area. It can also expose other HCW to the risk of COVID-19 if the person who is wearing the N95 respirator with a one-way valve is COVID-19 positive.
