The Department would like to congratulate Dr Ruben Ramakrishnan on the successful completion of his Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) viva voce. His thesis was titled “Association of gender and changes in body adiposity and Metabolic Syndrome among adolescents in Peninsular Malaysia”. He was supervised by Assoc Prof Hazreen Abdul Majid and Prof Dr Sanjay Rampal. Dr Ruben Ramakrishnan started his journey in the Department with his Master of Public Health (MPH) in 2014 and completed it in 2015. He then continued with his Doctor of Public Health programme in 2015.
During the period Dr Ruben have gone through two journeys, one the journey to better health and the MPH-DrPH journey. In his personal health journey, Dr Ruben has transformed himself into an Ambassador of Health Transformation. Congratulation Dr Ruben on this amazing transformation.
