Dr Mohammad Fadzly bin Marzuki, DrPH candidate supervised by Prof Awang Bulgiba and Prof Moy Foong Ming has passed his viva today. His research topic is “Association between life course social determinants of health and metabolic syndrome among female secondary school teachers in Johor”. He used a novel statistical method, Latent Class Analysis (LCA) to describe clusters of childhood social determinants of health and its effect on Metabolic Syndrome.
