We have seen in the past one week a rise in active cases and daily number of Covid-19 cases. Almost all the cases seen were local transmission cases. The majority of these cases were from Sabah and Kedah state. Majority of the infections seen in Peninsular Malaysia were contributed by Malaysians returning from Sabah.
In an interview with the News Strait Times newspaper, Datuk Prof Awang Bulgiba and Prof Noran N Hairi talk about the aggressive approach and preventive measures that needs to be done urgently.
