In an interview with the ChinaPress newspaper, Prof Dr Nasrin discusses the effort her groups have done to made and supply cloth masks to the healthcare workers and the public during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said that there is a lot of YouTube video that teaches how to make cloth facemasks. The only thing they need is a sewing machine and knowledge of how to sew. She said that the cost of the self-made cloth masks depends on the material used and whether the mask is a two- or three-layer design.
