In Singapore, there was a resurgence of COVID-19 due to the outbreak among foreign workers. There are many documented and undocumented foreign workers and refugees currently staying in Malaysia. Now the Malaysian COVID19 situation is under control, will Malaysia face the same issues as in Singapore. The BFM Breakfast team talks to Dr Tharani Loganathan, Public Health Medicine Specialist at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Medicine, for her thoughts on migrants’ access to healthcare, and other barriers that stop migrant workers from seeking the help they need.
