In a letter to the New Stratits Times, Dr Iqa Mohd Salleh, started with “It can mean two things for people who use illicit drugs (PWUD) as they weather the Covid-19 storm along with the general population.” In the letter she shared her opinion and highlight the issue faced by PWUD during the COVID-19 pandemic. In her closing remarks she said “The cornerstone of this plan is to treat PWUD with compassion, not judgment. After all, no one should be left behind.”
