On the 6th of March 2019, the Department had received the visitors includes of 5 lecturers and 36 postgraduate students from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesihatan Fort De Kock Bukit Tinggi, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. The excursion were led by Prof. Nursal Asbiran, Dr. Zainal Abiding, Dr Evi Hasnita, Miss Nurhayati and Miss Sukarsih Rusti. They were on a tour of educational institutions in the regions to review the courses offered and the opportunity for collaboration in their new Master of Public Health Programme.
Prof Sanjay Rampal and Prof Dr Victor Hoe had shared with them the various modules in the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health programme. The sharing session has sparked the student’s interest for furthering Doctorate in Public Health in University of Malaya. The visit adjourned with fruitful Q&A session with Prof Dr Victor.
