SPM Family Day 25 April 2009

The SPM department held our annual family day at the Putrajaya Botanical Garden. The event was attended by all staff and postgraduate students at the department, together with all our families. The event, which started at 0900am was filled with fun activities including exerobics, adult and children’s tele-match, treasure hunt, karaoke and lucky draws. Free flow of drinks and delicious breakfast and lunch were provided during the event. After a full day of fun and games, the family day was ended at 1430 pm.

The event started early with exerobics lead by Dr Maznah herself. This was followed by a delicious breakfast before the adult telematch commenced. Both the staff and students participated in the water- drenching, leg- kicking and dance-sitting fun-filled games. Immediately after that, the treasure hunt begins. Meanwhile, the children’s telematch was held. The children sure know how to have fun.

Following lunch, we’re entertained by song renditions (karaoke) by our own talented staffs, singing their hearts out to the auditory pleasure of those present.

All along through the events, lucky draws were held with plenty of prizes won by many participants.

It was indeed a fun-filled day for all to get to know each other better, and families to have fun. Well done and congratulations to the organisers.
