The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine with the cooperation from the Ministry of Health, Kuala Lumpur City Hall Health Office, Kuala Lumpur Health Office and the Selangor State Health Office successfully completed the “Study Tour of Advanced School Health Programme for Bangladesh Visitors from the Directorate of Health Service (DGHS), Bangladesh from the 25th February 2007 to 10 March 2007.
The study tour included a briefing on the Malaysian School Health Programmes by the Master of Public Health (Family Health) candidates; which are Dr Sunita, Dr Nik Nairan, Dr Siti Rohana, Dr Ariza, and Dr Maslinor, and also by the SPM staff; which include Dr Nabilla Abdul Mohsein Al-Sadat, Datin Dr Norlaili Abdul Aziz, Associate Professor Dato’ Dr Sirajoon Noor Ghani and the Head of SPM Department, Associate Professor Dr Awang Bulgiba A. Mahmud.
