Community Residency Programme 2006 – Briefing

Community Residency Programme (CRP) is one of the two field programme that are organised each year by the Department of SPM for the MBBS students. It is a one month programme and held at the end of Phase 3A usually in June. This year the programme are held from the 29th May – 23rd June 2006. The students are divided into five groups, and are posted to different Health District in Malaysia, for this year they were posted to,

1. Batu Gajah (Perak),
2. Alor Gajah (Melacca),
3. Termeloh (Pahang),
4. Kuala Nerang (Kedah) and
5. Kupang Pasu (Kedah).

The programme is divided into three parts; i.e., Briefing (Hospital Tungku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) Klang), Field Programme (2 weeks) and Debriefing (HTAR Klang).

During the debriefing session, the students are briefing on the components of CRP and then they will discuss among the groups to plan for the Field Survey and the Thematic Projects
