This workshop is meant for those who;
During this workshop, participants will be guided to develop and write a draft protocol for their review and learn to use RevMan 5 and GradePro software.
Day 1 - Introduction to Evidence Informed Healthcare
Day 2 - Developing a Protocol for a Systematic Review and Introduction to RevMan
Day 3 - Searching for and selecting trials, assessing Risk of Bias & Data Extraction
Day 4 - Meta-analysis, Summary of findings and grading recommendations using GradePro

Dr. Prathap Tharyan, MD, MRCPsych has been on the faculty of the Christian Medical College, Vellore since 1988 He is currently a Professor of Psychiatry and an Associate Director of the medical college.
Dr. Tharyan is also the Director of the South Asian Cochrane Network and Centre (www.cochrane-sacn.org), hosted at the Prof. BV Moses and Indian Council for Medical Research Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Evidence-Informed Healthcare at CMC Vellore. Dr. Tharyan is an Associate Editor with the open access journal, Trial; and the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics. He is also an editor with the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group and a systematic review author with several other Cochrane review groups. |
